Welcome to Vista, a semi-literate equine roleplay.
Semi-literate means you only have to type at least 150 words in each RP post. Simple, eh? c:
We're still fairly new (and somewhat under construction) so please be patient.
Once registered, you are asked to create your character. There is a creation/application form located under 'links'.
Once your character has been created, you must await approval from the lead mare or lead stallion of the herd you've asked to join.
On the subject of herds, we currently have six.
The water-loving Aphira herd, the earthy Faunarah herd, the hot-tempered Kamir herd, the dark Laruna herd, and the free spirited Solarius herd.
There's also a few other areas for your character to travel to. Those are the Abandoned Barn, the Hiking Trails, and the Lake.
New areas are always being added! c:

Just a fancy term for guidebook. c: This is where you can find all sorts of neat information about Vista. It is suggested that you read everything posted here before completely making yourself at home. C;
This is where the application form can be found, also name claims, etcetera. c: Accepted applications go in the "Accepted" sub-board. Denied applications go in the "Rejected" sub-board. Pending is where you post your applications for staff members to look over.
Aphira horses are known for their calm disposition and love for the water. This herd never stays in one place; they're almost always moving. Along the shoreline, of course. They're very welcoming of new herd members, but give them reason, and they can become very suspicious of you. A fault found in Aphira horses is that they can sometimes become too trusting of strangers; in the human and horse world. They shun the Kamir herd, but love to be with Solarius horses. Like Solarius horses, they get along with almost everyone. All they need is a good reason not to.
Faunarah horses are the nature loving equines of Vista. They're often found with flowers in their manes and tails, and taking naps under big, towering trees. They're cautious, and are scared easily. They have very strong opinions and can get moody at times. None of them quite enjoy change, so they tend to stay in one location. Faunarahs absolutely despise horses from the Kamir herd, and get along best with Solarius horses.
Horses from the Kamir herd are known for not being the friendliest herd. Most have very fiery temperaments, although there are one or two horses who are fairly laid back, but not 100%. Kamir horses don't spook at much; they stand their ground long enough to assess the situation. If for some reason, they will flee. They get along best with the Solarius Herd, and most strongly dislike Aphira horses.
The Laruna herd is the most secretive herd of Vista, no one really knows much about them. Truth be told, no one really even wants to know anything about them. This herd tends to stay in darker areas such as dense forests, and love the nighttime. Every single horse from this herd is very strong willed and intimidating. This herd can be quite dangerous if angered. No other herd gets along well with them (which is how these horses like it), in fact most other horses try to avoid them.
Solarius horses are the free spirits of Vista. They often have their heads in the clouds which can pose a risk, although it never has seemed to seriously harm anyone. They love having fun, and are often spotted running on beaches with Aphira horses, although they do get along with pretty much everyone. Air quality is the most important thing to this herd, as they can go without food and water for a fairly long period of time.
Perfectly intact and in beautiful shape, the previous owner obviously didn't leave on purpose. Strange as it all is, every morning the herds find delicious food and water in the standing stalls. A sense of security is to be expected in this barn; however, whenever a herd is resting here, they still must be on alert and ready to flee at any time.
The hiking trails are simply beautiful. Whenever a horse needs a break from their herd, the run down to the hiking trail. Birds chirp and little chipmunks and squirrels run around on the ground. They always have to be careful though, since there might be someone watching them from the thick forest trees.
Welcome to the lake. This is a place for herds to socialize with other herds. I guess you could consider it the party spot of Vista. It was formerly a common place for families to rest during the summer, but was later abandoned. No one knows why. The water is very shallow, perfect for the foals to gallop through. The lake is the most beautiful when the sun is setting, though. If a herd isn't on the move at that time, you can bet that they'll probably be there.
This is the whole purpose of Horseshoes, Vista's currency! The market allows you to open up your own shop. Pretty darn simple. Please take time to stop at the bank from time to time. c;
Guest friendly! This board was created with guests in mind. c: You may come here to advertise another RPG that you're a member on, or that you own. Affiliation with Vista is also located here! C:
This is where all the abandoned topics go. If a topic hasn't been active for a certain amount of time, eventually the staff will move it here. Once a post is in the archive it's locked and you will be unable to post.
